The Little Blue Star That Changed Everything

I never imagined that letting a teenage boy leave a grocery store with a can of baby formula and a loaf of bread would change the direction of my life. It was nearly midnight during my shift when I noticed him standing nervously near the checkout aisle. He kept looking over his shoulder, holding his jacket tightly against his chest.
